The Birth to Eight Support Systems Team strives to create a continuum of care which supports the social emotional and behavioral health of children, ages Birth to Eight. 

The BESST team advocates for increasing the quality and availability of services in Douglas County and believes that effective services to young children are community based, child centered, family focused and responsive to cultural and linguistic factors.

As a sub-committee of the Douglas County Early Childhood Planning Coalition, The BESST team has implemented a new program called "MOMS"   (Meeting of the Minds Sharing)  to help bridge gaps in service for children in need.  Please be sure to visit the MOMS tab for more information on this special program.
